Rock School - Summer 2010
If you already play an instrument and want to be in a band then book up for the Rock School.
Singers, drummers, guitarists, bassists and pianists are all needed...
We are running a Rock School during August for kids aged between 8 and 18 that would like to learn how to write songs and play together in a band. It's a great opportunity for budding musicians to learn a bit more about their instruments, meet and play with other kids and hopefully have a bit of fun while they're at it! The School is being run every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during August.

The School is being run at the Wellingborough Old Grammarians Memorial Ground near the Mad Mile.

WHAT WILL WE DO..
The emphasis is on teaching the group to communicate, learn, play, compose and work as a solid group.
It offers a wide range of knowledge outside of just learning a particular instrument.
We offer, teach and train individuals in a diverse set of skills such as:
- Reading and writing music
- Music Theory
- Rhythm
- Basic Composition
- Improvisation
- Performing
